About Alexis

Alexis Rean-Walker is a 28-year employee of Rutgers University with 24 of those years working for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers) as a Senior Project Management Analyst in Finance. Born in East Orange, New Jersey and raised in the city of Newark, Ms. Rean-Walker earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Kean University and is currently seeking her graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Data Analytics from Thomas Edison State University. Outside of work and school, Ms. Rean-Walker is fueled by her love of being a union activist for HPAE 5094 where she serves as the Co-President of the Central-South Jersey region and Rowan University. She also serves on the HPAE State Executive Council and the State Executive Committee where she works to keep staff, policies and locals in line with the bylaws of the organization. She is motivated by the rights of others and the laws that govern them.
