Please join the NJ Work Environment Council (WEC) on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 7:30 PM for our Annual Awards Ceremony to be held virtually.
This year we honor:
- Les Leopold, Co-Founder of the Labor Institute
- Carmen Martino, Director of the Occupational Training and Education Consortium (OTEC) and a faculty member in the Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers University’s School of Management and Labor Relations
- Isles, a community development and environmental organization based in Trenton with a mission to foster self-reliant families and healthy, sustainable communities for their work to launch Go Trenton, an electric car sharing service.
- Starbucks Workers United, for organizing for respect, dignity, safety and a real say in their working conditions.
Please join us in celebrating the achievements of our honorees by either sponsoring the event, placing an ad in the digital journal and/or purchasing tickets.
In light of the challenges and opportunities ahead of us from advancing equitable clean energy policy that creates good paying jobs to reining in Wall Street greed, WEC counts on the generosity of our members to help fund our work. Please join us and help make this our most successful annual fundraiser ever!
Thank you for your kind consideration.
In Solidarity,
